How to make an offer on a BoatWizard MLS listing

You can Make An Offer in the BoatWizard MLS that will create a deal in YachtCloser.  If the BoatWizard MLS listing originated in YachtCloser (YachtCloser Master Record) or is connected to a YachtCloser listing, the deal will be linked to the YachtCloser listing requiring you to enter buyer information and terms for the deal to be complete.  If the BoatWizard MLS listing was not the master record from YachtCloser or was not connected, the vessel and broker details will be populated in YachtCloser.

Step 1. Make Offer on BoatWizard MLS

Once logged into BoatWizard, go to the MLS and search for a boat.  You will see a Make Offer button with a YC logo as pictured below on the listing details.  To make a YachtCloser Offer simply select the Make Offer button and then follow the next steps.

NOTE: The Make Offer button will display in BoatWizard for listings that are available for co-brokerage and located in North America (USA).

Step 2. Login to YachtCloser

After selecting the Make Offer button in BoatWizard, a new browser session will open for YachtCloser (if YachtCloser is not already open) with the login screen. Input your email address and password.

Step 3.  Deal Confirmation

The listing details from BoatWizard will be presented for you to confirm that you have selected the correct boat.  Select the  Continue with Deal button to create the deal.

Step 4.  Buyer Information

Enter all buyer information and select the Save/Update button.

Step 5.  Seller Information

If the BoatWizard listing originated from YachtCloser or was connected to YachtCloser, the YachtCloser listing will be linked to this deal and the Seller information will display as PRIVATE, as pictured below.

NOTE:  Once the deal is fully executed, the seller information (excluding email) will be shown to the selling broker and is editable to allow timely updates for closing.  If the listing did not originate or was not connected to a YachtCloser listing, you will need to enter the seller information.

Step 6.  Vessel Information

All vessel information will be populated.  If the BoatWizard listing originated from YachtCloser or was connected to a YachtCloser listing the vessel information is not editable.

NOTE:  Once the deal is fully executed the vessel information can be edited by the selling broker to allow for timely updates for closing.  If the listing did not originate from YachtCloser or was not connected to a YachtCloser listing you will be able to make edits.

Step 7. Submission

Enter the terms for the deal on the Terms page then create a Purchase and Sale agreement and send this deal out for e-signature.
