How to add or change a Featured Boat on your website

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to add or change a Featured Boat on a website. To access the Featured Boat editor, click on Featured Boats in the Dashboard menu.

Set Up Featured Boats

Step 1. Drag and drop the Featured Boat Widget (from the list of widgets on the left side) into the featured inventory section on the right. Click Save All.

Step 2. Select which featured boat you wish to change under Featured Inventory

Step 3. A drop-down will provide you with the option to Search for Boat. Start typing the model i.e “Sea Ray” and hit enter.  This will query your inventory for all Sea Ray boats.

Step 4. Select the boat you wish to feature and Save. Repeat steps for each feature boat as needed.

Update a Featured Boat:

Step 1. Your current featured boats will appear as boxes under the title Featured Inventory. Select the box with the boat you would like to update.

Step 2. Click on the search box and search for the boat make or model you would like to replace the current boat with. To display your entire inventory, click Enter and you will be able to scroll through your inventory.

Step 3. The boats will be listed by Year/Make/Model/Price. Select the boat you would like to have as a featured boat then press the Save button at the bottom of the box.

Configure Featured Boats Settings (Right Hand Side Bar)

Step 1. Click into Featured Boats under the Dashboard. In this area you will be able to:

(1) Configure the number of columns that are displayed in a single line. (3 or 4)
(2) Configure the ribbon color
(3) Align the text on the header
(4) Choose the header title
(5) Add a description

Step 2. Click Update.
