Verified: New Feature Overview for Select Members
Our new Verified feature helps enhance trust, transparency, and professionalism across YachtWorld and Boat Trader, and our European Local Portals. This feature is exclusive to Select members and is designed to showcase you and your company’s credibility and qualifications.
Getting Started:
When you log into BoatWizard, a pop-up will appear:
- Review Your Account Page – You’ll be prompted to refresh and update your company information.
- Click Continue to go directly to your Company Page.
- Click Skip to close the pop-up.

If you choose to skip the form, don’t worry—you’ll be prompted again the next time you log into BoatWizard.
Fields You Can Update
During setup, you can review and update the following information:
- Company Bio: Up to 500 characters in plain text (emails, URLs, phone numbers, and emojis will be removed). You can customize your bio for each language to effectively communicate with different countries or regions.
- Member Photos: You can upload or edit your photo. This will display on Select listings where you’re assigned as the listing owner in Inventory.
- Certifications & Associations: These can be added now and will begin displaying on the portals in Q1.
- Broker Since Date: This determines your Verified Broker Badge.
- A broker will receive the Verified badge if:
They have been a licensed broker for more than 1 year
AND
- If licensed in Florida (FL) or California (CA), the Broker License Number field is completed
- A broker will receive the Verified badge if:

Trusted Partner Badge Levels
Your badge displays your longevity as a trusted partner:
Years as a Member |
Badge |
| 10+ years | Gold |
| 5+ years | Silver |
| 1-4 years | Bronze |
The member since field at a company level will be assigned by Boats Group.
Please note: If a listing does not have an assigned sales representative, we will display the company information in place of individual broker details.
